Contact your company's BIM 360 Account Administrator to:

• Go into the “Account Admin” section 
• Go into the “ Apps” section
• Click “IMAGINiT Clarity Cloud”
• Click “Add to BIM 360”

This is fundamental permission for Clarity Cloud to work with your BIM 360 site, however, access will be limited to a specified user with that user’s permissions.

In the BIM 360 Account Administration, Apps section, give the OK for Clarity Cloud to be used with your BIM 360 account

• There is no charge for this service
• This action does not give additional permissions to your partner; they will have access to your BIM 360 site as their specific user and will not be able to see or do anything via Clarity that they couldn’t already
   

No, Clarity Cloud processes all tasks in the Cloud.

• Forge processes Revit and AutoCAD tasks
• IMAGINiT processes all other tasks

Clarity Cloud has a new Hybrid option that can process all tasks in the cloud via Autodesk apps, however if you need support for large models or additional integration for AI software such as Navisworks or Autodesk Model Checker then contact us to find out if the Clarity Cloud Hybrid option is right for you.
 

The traditional, on-premise Clarity has been developed over 10 years. It has over 60 types of tasks and many features.

Clarity Cloud is a newer product, so its feature set is more basic – but will grow quickly. Running tasks in the Autodesk Cloud has several significant restrictions today around Cloud Models, network access, and the ability to access add-ins (such as the Navisworks exporters), but these restrictions will also evolve over time.

We are now offering the Clarity Cloud Hybrid option which has the ability to access add-ins such as Navisworks in the cloud and on-premise.

• Calculate the time it would take to process the tasks manually on your machine
• Use the tools within Clarity Cloud to determine the time spent on the tasks to date
