Substation Design Suite: Physical for Inventor

This course is intended for new Autodesk Inventor users that incorporate the Substation Design Suite™ Physical for Inventor (SDS P4I) design tools in their substation design. Its goal is to provide students with a working understanding of Autodesk Inventor and the SDS P4I product through a practice-intensive curriculum, including hands-on modeling work where users will be able to achieve a better understanding of the SDS P4I product.

Students will learn the key skills and knowledge required to design models using Autodesk Inventor, starting with conceptual sketching, through to solid modeling, assembly design, and drawing production.

This course will also cover substation modeling strategy, an introduction to SDS-P4I, above-grade tools, below-grade tools, substation designer tools, and advanced SDS capabilities. Throughout the course, users will also be presented with Spatial Business System’s recommended modeling strategies for substation design.

This course was designed to cover everything your organization will need to get started with Autodesk Inventor and Substation Design Suite Physical for Inventor.
