Autodesk Subscription

Simply put this is a new way of transacting the purchase of your Autodesk software assets. It has no impact on the partnership that you have with IMAGINiT. IMAGINiT will continue to work with you to assess your needs, recommend technology solutions, provide insights around licensing options, provide services to help with the implementation, adoption and support of your Autodesk technology investment and will remain your front line resource when it comes to any and all of your Autodesk needs. IMAGINiT will also continue to work with you to prepare a quote for the Autodesk software products that you need for your organization. The only difference will be that once you approve the quote, it will route to Autodesk who will in turn generate the invoice.

Your Autodesk account provides insights into your software assets, contracts, usage data and analytics so that you can make well informed decisions about your Autodesk software investment. You will also be able to add/delete seats, change payment methods, and renew software licenses.

• PREDICTABILITY – With one point of purchase, you will have consistent pricing for your Autodesk software needs.
• VISIBILITY – Improved data for managing your Autodesk transactions as your licensing needs fluctuate.

This process is specific to commercial accounts. If you are a government agency, Commercial Non-Agency DVAR or an Autodesk Learning Partner, please contact your IMAGINiT Sales representative to discuss your process.

Reach out to your IMAGINiT representative who will work with you to evaluate your needs and help you through the proposal and quote process before connecting you with Autodesk for the actual purchase transaction.

There are several phases and notifications before your software is deactivated. Phase 1 = Your software expires but you still have 15 days to pay for it. During this phase, you will still be able to use the software. If you do not pay within 15 days, you will be put into Phase 2 - suspension mode. In Suspension mode, you will not be able to use your product or access it until payment is made. If you do not pay within the next 30 days, your Autodesk account will be canceled. If you don’t make payment during Suspension phase you will be put into Phase 3 which is Cancellation and your Autodesk account will be terminated. You will no longer have access to any of your software tools that have expired and any price discounts or payment terms you have established no longer remain in place. Autodesk will send you a minimum of 8 communications during this 45-day period.

This process has not changed. You still work with your IMAGINiT sales representative to initiate the process.

The buyer at your organization will receive a final quote from Autodesk via email from: no-reply@autodeskcommunications.com. The quote can also be viewed by the buyer in their Autodesk Account. From the account, the buyer will be able to view the quote and select "Your Cart" to complete the purchase.

Note: If the buyer doesn’t have a team set up in their Autodesk Account, Autodesk will create a new team for them. IMAGINiT customer advocates can then assist.

The way we enter the proposal in OUR system translates directly to Autodesk’s purchasing system therefore the buyer must match the person we have prepared the quote/proposal for.

Immediate payment options include credit card, debit card, ACH, or PayPal. Upon payment, you will receive immediate access to your software. Customers who have applied for and received credit terms from Autodesk (refer to next question on how to apply for credit terms with Autodesk) will have Net 30 days to pay for their software but will be able to access it immediately after the order is placed.

Credit terms vary by country. You must contact Autodesk directly to set up terms by sending an email to credit@autodesk.com letting them know that you would like to set up payment terms between Autodesk and your company. To set up terms, your minimum purchase price must be greater than US $1,000 US. You:

• Must have a valid business email address [Gmail or yahoo for example are not accepted]
• Must meet Autodesk’s financial eligibility criteria
• You must provide the following info:

It typically takes up to 24 hours once all information has been submitted.

There are no credit card fees for transactions completed via credit card. You can use credit cards to pay for $100,000.00 worth of software.

If your internal purchase process requires set up of Autodesk as vendor, you can access Autodesk’s vendor information here: https://www.autodesk.com/campaigns/vendor-forms. Once established, the buyer clicks on the ‘Buy Now’ link to begin purchase process and enters the PO number and has the option to attach the PO. Autodesk will not complete customer vendor forms, however if you need further assistance, please reach out to your IMAGINiT Account representative.

You will have the opportunity to upload your tax exemption certificate or complete a new one at the time you check out your cart.

You will need to work with the lending institution to secure the monies up front and then follow the normal steps for purchasing your software. Autodesk will not work directly with your bank.

Software become available as soon as the Autodesk invoice is paid by credit, debit card, ACH, or PayPal. Access may vary for companies who have established special payment terms with Autodesk.

Autodesk wants to distribute products to market faster and to do that they need greater insights into the products being utilized by their customers. In addition, Autodesk wants to provide customers with a digitized way to purchase as needed and expedite their access to tokens.

Autodesk software will always be on a separate proposal enabling your request to quickly transmit to Autodesk. You receive immediate access to your software after you have made your purchase. IMAGINiT services and other offerings will be presented to you with an IMAGINiT proposal and quote. The transaction process for IMAGINiT offerings will remain the same.

IMAGINiT helps your organization navigate the entire purchase process. In the pre-purchase phase, we work with your organization to ensure that the products you have or want meet your overall objectives. In the post-purchase phase, IMAGINiT helps your organization deploy the software, assign users, and offers many tools and services to ensure good adoption of the tools. As a complimentary service, our team also provides detailed reports with graphical insights showing your company’s overall software consumption. We can show software analytics by product offering, product type, user, team, company, division, as well as the associated costs. We also offer complimentary Utilities to our Autodesk software customers as well as a myriad of services to help with the adoption, implementation and optimization of their Autodesk software investment.

For Autodesk products, you must transact as outlined above. For IMAGINiT services, you will work directly with IMAGINiT as you have done in the past. • Is the purchaser the person that IMAGINiT prepared the proposal for? Does the email on the quote match their business email address?
• If the buyer does not have an Autodesk account, they will receive an email from no-reply@autodeskcommunications.com with a link to set up an account. If you need help with this process, our Customer Advocates are available to help you.
• Check your spam folder or reach out to your IMAGINiT representative for assistance.
